Guys.. I've got a weird problem.

I have agp 6800GT card. My desktop res is at 1280x1024 (18" LCD with max res 1280x1024)
Funny thing is.. in games, my max resolution is 1024x768. I've tried nvidia driver 66.xx and the old 61.xx version. They are both the same.

Any idea on how to fix this?? THanks in advance

I had that problem when using span with multi-monitors, have it connected to your TV or anything?

Yeah, try disconnecting it from the TV, and see if that helps, or set it to dual view mode, that should work as well.

Hmm.. maybe the games that I'm playing only supports upto 1280x960.. but it still doesn't explain why max resolution I can pick is 1024x768. I'll try to reload the monitor driver and undo the "do not show unsupported resolution" and see if it changes anything.

I KNOW that it should work, coz it did at one time. I just can't remember what I did to make it go away.
