Gaming pick-ups thread - post pics!

I picked up Blasphemous yesterday after playing the demo. It's $15 on Switch right now. The demo was incredible. I am waiting to finish The Messenger before I get into it though. The Messenger is also a FANTASTIC old school game.

Yeah no shit, that fucking game. They definitely meant played for a straight week too. Don't turn off your SNES or it's back to square one.

At least you could double-jump, unlike the expensive SuperGrafx version I picked up in post #7. 🙁 It's more in line with the arcade.

Still had a lot of fun with it back in the day, and that stage where you're inside the demon and it rotates around you was killer at the time 🙂
I ended up going through it again on an emulator back in 2001ish with save states 😀
Loved the different armor upgrades too.

Isnt it like only a couple 100 or something actually exist ? I think 199 is unaccounted for though.

That number has been repeated everywhere, but it's completely made-up and there is nothing to substantiate it. If there were even 10 prototypes at this stage of development, we certainly would have seen more of them long ago.
