Hi,

I made my gaming pc about 3 years ago and with the release of batman coming up soon, I think it's time to upgrade the specs. I want to spend a maximum of around £250 - £300 on this, however going over a little isn't a issue.

My specs:
MSI B85MA P45,
i5 3550,
Amd 7850,
8gb ram,
1 tb caviar black,
128gb crucial m4 ssd

I want to be able to play most new games on ultra or high. Any help would definetly be appreciated, thanks

Bob, what screen resolution are you playing at now?

Assuming you are at 1080p or higher, a GPU upgrade is your best upgrade - but not yet.

If you are good with the graphics settings on games you play today, then I would recommend waiting until the game comes out and see what is needed to achieve ultra or high with the resolution you are playing on at the time.

Really the only thing that you would possibly need to upgrade is the GPU. However, if you're primarily interested in making sure that the upcoming Batman game runs well, it would be best to wait until we have solid benchmarks for it.

 That CPU can't possibly work with that motherboard.

Did you mean an MSI B75MA-P45?

Yeah, that's the one I meant, also yes I'm on a 1080p screen. Guess I'll wait until Batman comes out to see if anything needs to be upgraded. Thanks for the help guys

I would wait to see what affect R9 Nano will have on the $300-$350 market. You want to buy a card from that market segment.
