My 6 Dilemma's are ........
1) Go the 3500+ or downgrade to 3200+ (will be upgrading to dual core when a little cheaper)
2) a cheaper Keyboard and mouse ($40 for both i think is a bit steep)
3) Weather to get 2 Gig now or get 1 Gig now and Another 1 Gig later
4) atm the system cost is over my budget of $2,300
5) I believe i can get a cheaper quality Router as the signal is only going to be sent around 7 meters TOPS (downstairs)
6)WHICH CASE? i am leaning towards the Tsunami only because i heard its overall better!
Please Help....i just want to finnish researching and start Building.....thanks all
(barf) tell someone to fix that msy.com.au page. Yellow is giving me a headache!
First of all, I would skip out Antec power supply. Instead, I'd get the Silverstone they have on the following page and it's cheaper too while only losing about 40Watt.
Also, answering your question above are these:
1. If the price difference is quite abit ie 50 bucks cheaper if you go with 3200, go with the lower one. All in all, you are only losing 200mhz which isn't much really.
2. I would not go easy on keyboard and mouse. If you are going to spend so much time on your computer, mate, you might as well spend extra to feel more comfortable. Get no less than MX517 for gaming mouse or the newer G5/G7 series. Keyboard is all up to you. The ultimate keyboard is the G15. My cousin bought one and he loved it. I on the other hand got a awesome deal on the Microsoft Wireless Desktop Elite. I don't really game much and if I do, I have my joystick to cover it lolz.
3. It's all in the price, mate. If your budget allows you to buy two gig, get two gig. Otherwise one should be sufficient. Spend more on the more critical stuff such as power supply and video card.
4. Good gracious!
5. I don't really believe in the whole mumbo jumbo about MIMO stuff. I'll wait till they announce the real "N". Then I'll buy MIMO.
6. About the case, you really have to think about what you are going to do with your computer. Honestly, I like the Coolermaster Stacker 810. It has plenty of space and plenty of cooling whether I want a quiet system or an overclocking gaming system. It has an optional window on it (like 40US extra or something like that). Or You can wait until the CM Stacker 830 comes out next year (the one I really want).
Do some more research and see what you really want before make a decision.
