what a FX does pretty good in BF3 multiplayer

That's running at a stupidly low resolution- it's hardly a good benchmark when there's a 60Hz cap.

smhthe res is low because at lower resolutions the CPU becomes a factor instead of the gpu.
In a game with a 60FPS cap? All that does is show that every single modern CPU hits that 60FPS cap at a very low resolution, and gives us no comparative data. It's a pointless benchmark.
CPU load doesn't change with resolution. If a CPU will let you get 60fps at 1024x768, it will also let you get 60fps at 2560x1440. Conversely, if you can't get 60fps on one CPU but another CPU can, it won't matter how much graphical power you throw at it because you're CPU limited.
That bench shows the FX-4100 as capable of delivering 60fps minimum in that game (regardless of video card or graphical settings), which is useful information.
