Gaming mouse & keyboard....???

What is the best mouse and the best keyboard (or package with both) for gaming? I would greatly prefer wireless because I will be using my HDTV as a monitor.

Logitech MX1000 is the best mouse money can buy...there's really no disputing that.

Keyboards are much more a personal preference. The Logitech Elite is nice...so is the Microsoft Multimedia Keyboard (my personal choice).

I hear the mx1000 has some lag issues with shooters. The 700 & 510 are wireless?
Nobody has even mentioned the Boomslang?

I upgraded to one from my mx510 and I can say that there is absolutly no lag. Best mouse I've ever used. Google for some reviews as well--I haven't seen one yet that complains of any lag.

Same, MX518 looks to be pretty sharp, but there's no word on when it'll be released. I've been debating on whether to wait for it or just go ahead and buy an MX510...

Temptations!!

*edit* oh, if you're shooting for wireless, forget the MX510/MX518, as both are corded.
