I just recieved my 2001 FP, and the backlight problems, and the screen door effect are incredibly annoying. Not to mention one green on black pixel I have. I tried "massaging" it, but that didnt seem to help. How hard am I to push, and what kind of motion should I be using?

I own the 213T and it is HORRIBLE for games. I am selling it and getting (2) 2001FP's.

I strongly suggest if you are a gamer to stay far away from the 213T!!

I'm looking for a good 17 inch gaming lcd , anymore than that is a waste of money for me, if you guys know a good one that doesn't ghost on games like doom3,call of duty,counter-strike and soon half-life 2 let me know.I seen a couple people on here say that the Samsung 172X is good, anyone else have any experience with this monitor?

its not entirely slow for gaming. for example, the samsung 243T, the new 24incher, uses a 25ms panel, but its far improved in gaming. ghosting is very minimal as they mention in the gamepc.com labs. in fact, they prefer a good 25ms panel over a 12ms panel in many cases, just because of quality.
