Gaming laptop

umm... it's pretty hard to find a gaming laptop that cost less than ur budget rite now, when I'm talking about the GOOD gaming laptop.. but oh well, you can always try to find deals from DELL's laptop. My friend's mom got an employer's discount for DELL items + coupons.. and hell yea, you can get a good deal that way

... um, save up a little more. or check ebay.

if you want to game, you can find a Sager notebook with a Geforce Go 7800GTX for $1,879. it comes with a nice P4. Over 2K will get you an Athlon X2 or Core2 processor with GO_7900 or GO_7950GTX.

gaming on integrated Intel graphics probably isn't the greatest thing. There are mobile x1600's and 9700's, even x800's.

...check ebay, your best bet for the budget you're talking about.

I remember the Radeon 9000 (not 9700, not 9800, but 9-0-0-0) on laptops... running for over 2K. "classic..."

$1100 will get you a decent laptop, but nothing worthy of running high-end games. If you're looking to play Doom 3, Half-Life 2, Oblivion, etc., either get a desktop for the same amount of cash, or save up another $900 before you consider buying a laptop. If you're playing non-graphics demanding games (Warcraft III, Civilization IV, Pong...) then go ahead and get a decent $1000-1200 model. Look around for something with a Core Duo or Core 2 Duo in it for best results.

Get a nearly loaded dell E1505 with a E7200 (Core 2 Duo @ 2.0GHz w/ 4 MB cache) and a Radeon X1400 Mobility. It won't play fear, but if my brother can play CS:S and WOW on a PIII @ 800 MHz and a 9600XT, this is more than enough for medium gaming.

Ditch the laptop if you want to game on it and have only $1100 to spend, unless by gaming you mean 3 year old games and/or solitaire. You'll be much better off with a desktop at that price.

Can anyone give me a link for a 1100$ laptop at least a decent one. I don't really mind now.
BY the way, maybe the prices will lover when christmas comes. I am willing to wait then.

Spend $200 on a used laptop and get a desktop for $900. You can pick up a monitor at any IT place throwing out 17" CRTs. Best bang for buck.
