Gaming Laptop ~$1000

Need help finding one for my little bro.

Only requirement is that it's good enough to play League of Legends and has a SSD so that should pretty much be any laptop. I still want the best possible for him for $1000.

Clevo W370ST is what I'm looking at currently but wondering if there are any better deals out there.

league of legends will play on pretty much anything.

bit overkill

A 750m (equal to 650 desktop) should be easily able to keep max settings at 60 fps @ 1080p.

Drop down the gpu (if lol is all you are going to be playing) to get the ssd in your budget.

Well that's why I was asking here. I can't seem to find a decent Haswell based system with a good GPU for under 1k.

If you can skip the SSD and the 17" display, check out the Lenovo Y510p, dual 750m.

I got myself a Y410P (Y500's little cousin, i7-4700MQ/8GBRAM/1600x900screen/4.85lbs) for $850 but it only has a single 750M. Quite a nice laptop, but im seeing your price range is 150$ higher than mine.

If you don't mind going up a hundred or two, get a Sager NP7352 or Y510P.

I dont own either but im fairly happy with the Lenovo. However, i havent used SLI yet but i heard that people have only been getting microstuttering issues *if* you use the non-stock drivers. However, in tems of rendering performance, the SLI 750 will outperform the 765. And i prefer the Y series' looks and keyboard over the generic Clevo bodies. Also, the Y series are whisper-quiet, can't say the same for the Sager.
See this comparison, it'll helpful to you.
