My brother and I want to play Silkroad Online at the same time but everytime one of us connect while the other is already on it disconnects both of us.

It plays fine when one of us is on but as soon as i log on to play with him it lags up and we both disconnect from the server. Counterstrike 1.6 had the same problem till i found out you had to add +clientport 27xxx to each computer to play on the same server.

I've upgraded the firmware and ran the cd network install disk only. I havent changed any settings on the router.

Any tip/help or helpful website is appreciated, thx.

Just taking a wild guess, are you both using the same account? I know a lot off MMOs don't like the same account logging in twice.

The old battlenet worked the same way, to be honest I'm not sure why, but it would never allow us to connect two concurrent users on the same IP to BNet servers.

I would guess that your issue stems from something similar.

If your ISP offers two public IP's thats one way around it.

Some older games can not do it because at the time that was the way they were configured.

Later on the online game providers wised up and configured the newer games to be able to work from one IP with few independent accounts.

Log to the support site of the Game they would have info about this issue./
