Gaming in 1440p @ 144hz

I just don't need that kind of refresh rate.

my eyes are too old to even notice that refresh rate... lol.

honestly i think 90hz is fine for non competitive FPS.
Motion blur really isn't an issue for me after 90, as my response keyboard time is not even up to that speed.

I could have bought a radeon 6800 before bitcoin's price rose so much, but missed. Now i will be stuck with my msi gtx 1080 ti gaming x for good... :)

I don't play many FPS, so not so big of a problem if i can't reach 144/165 fps...

Agreed. I play lots of different genres and don't care about 144hz/fps unless it's fast paced like FPS or a racing game.

I definitely like 120fps, but the differences beyond that are small and at 4K it's hard to consistently get more than 90-100fps. VR and games with smooth turning motions like flight/space sims benefit the most from high framerates.
