The case looks nice, and I really like the features it has (cable management, removeable motherboard tray, use of 120mm fans) but it just doesn't *LOOK* like a $200 case. Maybe $100-150.

Obvious G5 ripoff, and to be honest, not that attractive in terms of features or performance. I'd rather have my $85 CoolerMaster Centurion than this thing.

If you're going to spend $200+ on a case, you might as well do it right and get something from Lian-Li or one of Silverstone's Temjin cases.

you know, i looked at it for quite some time but never ended up picking one of these cases up.
i started looking at the silverstone temjin cases, but theres a few things i would like to see fixed like 120mm rear and front fans in their all aluminum cases..

so im still without a new case, using this old antec sx1030 till i find one i approve of :)

I think someone here at AT bought one. I seem to remember a recent thread (I think it was started by "MrControversial") that had a bunch of pictures in it. It was posted here in Cases & Cooling, or General Hardware, I don't remember.

I was looking at it, and I liked the design of it (I mean, really...all aluminum construction, clean looks, removeable motherboard tray, 120mm fans?) but in the end, I just couldn't justify the price. One of the main things I liked about the GBII was the wire-management features, but I ended up buying a Lian-Li PC65 and making a few cuts for wire management purposes, and I'm a very happy customer.

ya, as i thought about it more and more, i think i want a black alum over a silver alum case.

as well as a little less mac-looking. because the only thing worse than having a mac, is having a wannabe mac.

all the features dgevert mentioned were the reasons i was so tempted, but in the end, waiting for a nice black aluminum case to come out with all the features i want.

Lian-Li PC-7B Plus

Has just about everything the Game Bomb 2 has with the exception of a 80m/m blow hole fan instead of the Gamb Bomb II's 92m/m fan.

I was all gung-ho but during the wait found the above Lian-Li and have been using them.

I still want one...But not until I can find one at what I consider a reasonable price.

Funny thing...I showed everybody the GameBomb II...Found the Lian-Li and everybody that was intrested in the Chenbro opted for the Lian-Li.

Anybody found a deal on the GameBomb II without rebates and all that business would be nice.

main thing i hate about the lian-li (and i know how much of a pro-lian-li in this forum)
but i hate the small holes on the front of all their cases.

come up with whatever practical use you want to justify it with, but i still think its tacky and just causes dust buildup inside the case.

edit: on that particular case you linked, it seems like they are only located in front of the front fan, but ive seen so many lian-li cases where the top rounded front of the case has those holes for no reason other than to add more areas for dust to enter.

ya, after months of lookin at cases, i finally decided on the lian li pc7b plus.

looks nice, has the 120mm fans in front and back plus optional 80mm blowhole on top

with no obstructing front door and front usb/firewire ports.

ordered from coolerguys today and since im one state away, hopefully it ships quickly :)
