Does anyone else feel that games have mostly become about graphical ability and less about the actual gameplay. This is more in a reference to Console Gaming, because PC gamers have B&W, CS and games like that. My desire to play any sort of videogame on console has declined so much recently. I passed up the oppertunity to get a PS2 from my parents, opting instead to take the money and buy computer parts with it. I just feel like there is SO MUCH talent out there and not a lot seems to get done with it. I know there are games like Metal Gear 2 and the like, but overall I feel games have become very uninteresting.(Again, this has mostly to do with Console gaming)

I know what you mean. But i'm just really too cheap to buy a ps2(as if i really need one now). But computer games are cool. I just play them once in awhile and then they start getting fun to use the mouse and stuff. It seems a lot more interactive than just the regular gamepad. But i still feel that arcade games like Marvel vs Capcom 2 kick ass, but I hate to waste a quarter for a game now that I can play for cheaply at home.

BTW, Counterstrike is the best. I rip ass. If anyone is in the CA area, I usually play in ITP DUST 2000 server. Name's Lostwind. Just PM me if you ever want to play together.
