I am looking at the Visiontek Tuner card with ATI 550 chip and getting a large HDD. According to Vistiontek requirements it need a 2.0ghz or better CPU,DX 9 card,ect. I didn't know I was gonna have to build that high end of a HTPC just to get Tivo like features.
Are those specs off or is that just a demanding card? I plan on running Windows Media Center probably. My main question is would my system in my sig be fast enough for me to surf the net,play online games,music,ect and let my GF watch,record,ect at the same time? Or would I need dual core?
