Hey, i have a linksys wireless router that i use to share internet with my laptop. I wanted to add a connection point downstairs in my basement for ethernet so i can plug in my computer downstairs and my xbox. Doesn't have to be at the same time. I was looking for something like this. http://www.usr.com/products/networking/wireless-product.asp?sku=USR5430 . But i didn't want to spend $110. Would like to spend less then $50. What i need is a bridge right? Anything else you would recommend i use? Something with more then 1 port would be nice too.

I would purchase a wireless adapter for you pc and use that to connect to your router. Then throw in another nic and setup ICS (internet connection sharing) on your pc to share with the xbox. That would probably be the cheapest way.

Could you move your modem/router downstairs? That would allow the xbox and pc to plugin.
