Was just checking prices today when I noticed that the Nuvi 350 seems to have hit a price drop. Several sites seem to have dropped the price for this puppy with Wally-World being the lowest at $489 (To give you an idea, Costco still has it listed at 550).

This seems to be one of the best GPS for the buck, and I'm going to be getting one for my father for x-mas.

Any idea how quick Costco would be to adapt to the lower price? I would like to order from them so I can return without hassel if my pops decides he doesn't want this for some unfathomable reason.

Don't know if Costco matches lower prices (probably not, based on the way they purchase direct for manufacturers) ... but Costco does have the Garmin Nuvi 360 for $549.00. My understanding is that the 360 is a moderately improved version of the 350, the primary difference being that the 360 adds Bluetooth connectivity to allow the GPS to work as a speakerphone for your cell phone. I actually asked for a 360 for Christmas myself, citing the Costco deal (as the great thing at Costco is that after you use it for a few weeks if you don't like it, you can take it back - no problems / no questions asked).

I got it from Best Buy for $499 on their Black Friday sale. This thing is awesome. Probably the best navi system out right now.
