Gamestop Trade In Promo

I went into my local gamestop today and asked if they had any trade in promos. The said that one just started today where you get an extra $10 for every 3 games you trade in. I traded in 12 gamecube games and got 85 dollars (over the normal $45 I would have gotten).

Not sure if this is for every store, but worth checkin out if you got a pile of old games to get rid of.

Thanks. Gotta a stack of Metroid Primes from the recent KMart Wavebird bundle deal, and another stack of unopened Aggressive Inline PS2 disks from an earlier deal, that would be perfect for this.

yikes, so they only give you like $5 a game?

or less unless its a very recent game.

Gamestop generally gives more than EB does (at least my local ones)

EB Games stinks plain and simple. I actually had a good experience at Movie Trading Company but that is off-topic 😛

Yes, I have a pretty good relationship with the folks at my local ebgames (I go every paycheck!) and it's for ANY game. Plus it's not just $10... it's $10 plus the trade in value.

Except when they run these special trade-in-offers, I swore that Blockbuster was offering better prices.

First few months Fable was out, Blockbuster was offering $35, yet after 1 month of release Gamestop and EBGames were offering $20 or less.

Still nice deal to get an extra $10 on a trade in.

They accept DVD movies for a decent price as well - some of mine which I don't think are worth anything they would buy for $3+
