Gamestop "f-ing Dirty Mofos"

So I wanted to cancel an order (game for my cousin in the US), at the MOMENT I sent the email the gamestop status page read "pending" and 2 minutes later, Gamestop, a "jennifer" if that is even her real name, sent a reply saying the package has shipped and cannot be canceled. And sure enough, I checked the status, and it says shipped all of a sudden, outta f-ing no where.

Coincidence, I THINK NOT.

UPDATE:

OMFG. They just sent me another email after I cursed them off and labeled them as liars. This Fker was all smug with me too.

"Please keep in mind that we assumed when you ordered the product you actually wanted it." -John "customer service supervisor"

Ass wipe, this has nothing to do with the wrong doing in their scamming policy.

AND GUESS what,, YESTURDAY the billing Information on the Gamestop Site said, ORDERED on 16th, which was when they changed it to fuck me over.

THEN today, it says order date 17th. Which means they did not SHIP until TODAY, because i just got the Shipping email today, while they labeled the package as shipped YESTURDAY.. Changing it now from YESTURDAY to TODAY...

If some hacker got ripped off, I would sure hope he bombs the crap outta gamestop servers, give them a month of downtime, in this economy they wouldn't survive. GRRRRRRRRR.... And since it's BARACK, i know he would not bail out the video game companies. quote "We have to put away the video games" -BO

Protip: Rejecting the package, refusing to receive, and getting it shipped back to sender, will work just as well. Just takes a tad longer.

At least you now know how to get your orders to ship faster from now on.

I agree,,it their shipping rates are outrageous, A game weighs .5 pound at most, and they charge 3 dollars shipping. Honestly there are like 9 gamestops on any major highway, they could probably just drive out for 2 seconds and hand me the f-ing game. I make a habit of expecting packages late, so I always order 2 weeks ahead. Haven't missed a birthday yet.

I would usually buy the store to avoid shipping, but I'm in a diff f-ing country ordering a gift for someone.

I H8 everything right now.. I feel cheated, certainly lied to, almost raped by Gamestop. Barnes&Noble can also go to helllllllll...

Not that I know what kind of shipping discount (if any) gamestop gets, but $3 is about what I pay to ship a game. It's around $1.70 for the label from USPS, and then the box/envelope/tape costs money. The shipping rate is definitely NOT where they're ripping you off.

This is your best best. Also realize that most businesses that ship lots of product, Newegg, Amazon, etc. will often say that your product has been shipped a day before it actually is picked up. This is common practice because the package isn't always picked up same day. They box your product and put a shipping label on it and it's considered shipped at this point even though it doesn't get picked up from UPS/FedEx till the next day, just the way things work.

Your post makes you sound like a complete moron, probably because you are one. Obviously, you have no idea how the logistics of an e-commerce business work. The fact that you cussed out someone because you feel jipped because they couldn't cancel your order? What happened to being polite, picking up the phone, and calling them? You cursed them off and called them liars? WOW.

It's tools like you that make people hate their jobs. You are a complete idiot.

HA, go ahead and troll my tread, I welcome it.

No it isn't me that makes people hate their jobs. If you work at a job you hate, it is either because you couldn't do any better, or you're too lazy to. Neither of which is my fault.

Calling them? as if I would get a different response when sleight of hand is their business model.

Being polite? You're on the internet, and you're BEING REALLY polite to me, thank-you. You know what we should pm each other our numbers and call each other.

Then you're just as much a catcher as those wimpy homosexuals.

I was LIED to, flat out. Yes, I should just take it. SURE it wasn't the customer service that proposed that they should lie to me. So, following orders to lie is better and perfectly acceptable?

And just what stops THEM from calling the warehouse, to tell them to rip off the label and restock the shelf.

It costs them money to restock shit. They already PAID for the label, so they'd lose money on that. Cancelling your order at the last second was your own damned fault. If you didn't want the game then you shouldn't have bought it. Nobody lied to you, you're just too thickheaded to listen to what they had to say

Quoted for nestle's ban.

gor - actually they haven't paid for the label yet. An operation as large as Gamestop has an automated UPS shipping software that's integrated with Gamestop's internal system that generates a label based on their account number (a company's account number is the 6 letters/numbers after the 1Z on your tracking number) The company is only charged for that shipment once the master billing number has been scanned upon UPS driver pickup.

In regards to the logistics - order goes in, is processed. Each stage the order is in gets assigned a certain status. Once it reaches a certain status, IE, for most companies that would be when the ticket prints in the warehouse to be picked, the order is therefore no longer cancellable. With a POLITE PHONE CALL, the CSR might be able to have that ticket torn and the order cancelled, but one off exceptions are outside the norm and expose the process to errors.

But thanks for the backup  😀

The LIED, because the CANCEL button was still active WHEN I was checking the order history, I CLICKED it, then it said, Server not responding, please contact customer support. AND I DID...

THEN customer support said,, F-U customer, we already SORTA shipped it.

You should be banned for being a pussy that likes taking it in the face.

Quoted yet again. How do you function in life without cussing everyone out? I guess you can scream at your collection of GI Joe dolls all day long in your moms basement without fear of retribution huh?
