What makes Entrenchment particularly interesting from a business perspective is that despite the amount of new content and goodies the team is including, this expansion (which will be priced for digital download at $9.95) is only one-third of the "true" expansion. According to Wardell, even as the Ironclad crew works to finish up Entrenchment, the foundation is already being laid for two follow-up titles that will beef up the game's more peaceful options including robust new diplomacy tools, add new ships and new technologies, and possibly also include the long-awaited single-player campaign. The idea is to eventually combine the three expansions post-release into a large package that will be released at retail.

Why EA fvcks us over with Spore, Stardock looks to deliver quality products.

Awesome. Cant wait for the single player campaign, these little bits of expansion will keep me occupied in the meantime.

Bump because the whole Crysis thing makes me sad and its good to see some companies take care of their customers.

Damn, I wish that was coming out sooner. I love defensive options in RTS games and Sins sorely lacked that aspect (most do though 🙁 ).

My only concern is about how it will affect the online multiplayer game. I'm guessing that the answer is that it won't have any effect.

I'll buy all three as they are released. Stardock is fast becoming one of my favorite companies to do business with.
