games

Eye candy is overrated. The best computer games ever (in order) are Deus Ex, Marathon 2: Durandal, Lands of Lore: Guardians of Destiny, Crusader: No Remorse, and System Shock II.

Seriously though, why does it matter what someone likes hamburger? How does it take away from your gaming experiences?

I think he's just trying to piss you off. Oh and you left out starcraft in your list.

Starcraft has great music and cinematics, but not much else. The RTS genre is dead to me.

When someone says that Halo is their favorite game, it means one of two things. Either they have never actually played a good game or they are the spawn of Satan.

even though i quit, i still have my favorites. kotor1, civ3, rise of nations and the expansion, ffvii and ffviii. maybe even metal gear solid after i got used to the controls. throw in hl2 for 1st person shooters. patrician 3 was also a good game.

Oh yeah, and of course, the best game of all time: Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri.

It's certainly the best strategy game.

i didnt find that game to be particularly good, and i played it for quite a bit.

To me it was basically Civ 2 with an expanded tech tree, better graphics, a real storyline, and some awesome videos. Nothing groundbreaking but certainly improved in every aspect.

thought it was a bit easy? not sure if i remember correctly. might be a bit too much because the computer pressures you too much to build/sever alliances. i like civ3 much better because i usually dont deal with another civ until i can crush their lousy spearmen with my tanks, or nuke their population=2 cities with my icbms.
