BattleZone

I agree with the MechWarrior comments too along with a return to the great Star Wars games of the past: Tie Fighter, X-Wing, Dark Forces etc.

The Jane Simulator games (ATF, 688i, etc.) were all favorites of mine but nothing has come up to replace them. Silent Hunter could theoretically replace 688i but they have different points of view.

True! I would love to see a new ATF

I have seen the Crisis mod and I hope it works well, just concerned that there may not be enough players and other mod stuff.

Baldurs Gate 1/II were awesome. If a sequel were made, it should not be farmed out to a third party but made by Bioware. Maybe now that Dragon Age is about to be finally released, they can go into BG3 development if they aren't secretly already!

Icewind Dale was a very cool game, would love an IWD3

Old old school:

Alternate Reality. (1986) Resume the series!
Ultima (Single player)
Bard's Tale (Single player RPG)

oldish

Battlezone. Another one would be great! Don't dumb it down this time!
Baldur's Gate/Icewind Dale
Planescape (new story)

All of these games are begging to be developed!

Second on Shogo. That was a great game although a little short.

Of course, Duke Nukem as well.

There was MOO 2 and MOO 3, although I heard that MOO3 was like playing a spreadsheet. MOO 2 was pretty good though. I've probably spent hundreds of hours on that blasted game.

My list:
Privateer 2
Duke Nukem 3D
Portal
Wing Commander series

Clover Studio's Okami (too bad the company got closed down but Capcom could still likely do something with it)
Novalogic's Tachyon: The Fringe

Star Wars Galaxies with JTL using an updated engine, without player Jedi, and Pre-CU combat with working bases - and keeping within the same timeline instead of making up the rules as they go along.

M.U.L.E. [at least an updated graphical version with all of the neat bells and whistles].

my only worry about planescape torment (which is my favorite game) is they might ruin what was a perfect game. They'll focus on graphics and trying to replicate the story, etc and it might not work.

Planescape: Torment...I haven't played it in a long time, an absolutely brilliant game!

I want a Myth3 that isn't broken, and has a bungie.net and for the entire community to spontaneously regenerate itself.
