I just finished playing some Shores of Hell (DOOM) on Ultra Violence, but I think I'll do it on Nightmare, I've been trying to find all the secret areas I've missed in both DOOM and DOOM II in the past (not the ones I don't remember about, but the ones I simply never found, and there's tons of them), I was tempted to play it with Doomsday and jDOOM enhancements but I'll keep it the old way instead (well, mostly), the only thing I've let being enhanced are the textures (smooth looking, no pixels, but still good old sprites) and the particle effects (diffusion factor mostly, resulting in much more blood especially when I kill Imps) and of course the resolution (1280x1024). And even after all those years I'm having a blast, I played a good three hours non-stop yesterday in Knee-Deep in the Dead.

.. i'm about to play Mirror's Edge for the first time; yesterday evening was Cryostasis demo (not so sure about the "warmth for survival" gimmick; other than that, it seems OK, a bit like Condemned, maybe) and some Prince of Persia
- don't tell me PoP is all about "jumping" and they are ALL critical and i will be spending a lot time reloading because i missed
