Games with ancient Egyptian theme?

I really enjoy games with an ancient Egyptian theme. Titan Quest, AC:Origins, even the WoW AQ event. Do you have any recommendations that I can check out? Thanks!

Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation

I don't know how old you are and/or whether some games are "too old", but I come back to this one every few years.

Pharaoh / Cleopatra, from the "Caeser 3" series of games (caeser, pharaoh, zeus, etc...).
circa 1999, awesome city building game, you can build all the Egyptian monuments - Mastaba, Pyramid, Sphynx and temples to various gods. you grow food on the Nile river according to the floods and tides and so on, trade with other cities, build armies and conquer them.

both available on GOG for 9.99$

Prince of Persia games?

Only other games I can think of that haven't been mentioned is the Mario games that have Egyptian themed levels which I'm sure isn't what you are looking for.

Powerslave (Exhumed) immediately comes to mind.

It's exaggerated though, stereotypical and mixed in (obviously) with made up elements left and right (it has more in common with StarGate than actual ancient Egypt). It's a 1990s FPS so do take it with a giant grain of salt, or two. But I absolutely loved it (the PS1 version is the one I had, but I often read that the Saturn version is also very good).

And I might be mistaken on this one but isn't there one of the Total War games with ancient Egypt? And I don't mean just a faction, but with some sort of a campaign? Or I'm thinking of something else entirely.

This. One of my favorite games of all time.

Other things that come to mind:

Immortal Cities: Children of the Nile (spiritual successor to Pharaoh) - PC
Total War: Rome 2 - PC
Sphynx and the Cursed Mummy - PS2

Is it Age Of Empires or Age Of Mythology that has Egyptian factions ?

Although both games is excellent. But very old 🙂

If you can find it: Ravenloft Stone Prophet.

Probably on one of those DOS sites that has a crapload of games to play in your browser.

Age of Mythology had the Egyptian civ, with 3 factions to choose from within that civ. I remember sending out my anubites to raid villagers and using the mummies to take out strong enemy myth units. Good times.
