Ok, heres the issue.

On most games that use an installer, i.e you double click setup, a splash screen appears, then a progress bar goes from 0 to 100, and then it brings you up the options of doing a small, medium, large install?

You know what one?

Well, from going to 0-100% on the progress bar takes me 2-5 minutes
and going from 100% to install screen takes 10 minutes to forever, some games don't even make it.

Can ne1 tell me what the hell I have done, or what i can do to troubleshoot this? :|

Im running XP, and no its not that, cause my system was running like a champ yesterday. :)

Thanks for all the suggestions!

Lordy lord, are you running a Pentium 33 MHz or something? :)

On a serious note, have you tried restarting your machine? How much RAM do you have, and how fast is your processor?

Heh, yeah rebooted several times.

Amd 700
256 MB Ram
6Gb 5700 RPM and 60GB 7200 HD's
KYRO II
NetGear Ethernet Card
etc

Its not my Hardware, its summit I must have done.

Umm, guess if I don't get help, then I'll have to do a fresh install.

Then watch what I install this time.

Do SEVERAL game installations behave this way, or have you only tried one?
I've dealt with some installations that truly do take that long, and it's normal for them.
Try running the installer for a game that YOU KNOW will run quickly.

4 in 1 drivers? umm, I thought you didn't need these as M$ worked with Via, and incorportated them into XP.

Im using WinXP and not Win2k. Can you clear this up, instead of sighing... ;)

Also, all games suffer from this.
