Games in Linux

How do I make Age of empires 2 work in Linux. Quake 3 and UT work good. Maybe because AOE2 is a Microsoft/Ensemble Studios game they made so it won't work on the competitor OS?

I hope i don't get flamed by all the evil linux haxors for wanting to play games in their os =[

heh, unless its been ported you're out of luck. Technically it should be possible to use a windows emulator to run it, however this is hardly an option when it comes to playing games.

Of course it'll be a cold day you know where when M$ does port it to linux.

You could actually try wine. I've gotten StarCraft to work on it no ploblem. I've actually seen screenshots of Sacrifice running on the version with Direct3D emulation.
