Games For Windows magazine shuts down!

I've got about 18 months left on a paid subscription. To answer the question someone asked above about what happens to paid subscriptions, those who are paying are simply out of luck. I read the quoted material above to see if Jeff Green would even address it, he didn't. I think that speaks volumes about what we can expect.

This is the second computer gaming magazine I was paying for that stopped publication in the last year. I think Games For Windows made an arangement to add the remainder of the issues due me by that magazine to my subsciption with them, so I guess I'm actually out a little over two years now. 🙁

Update: Someone started a petition to keep the magazine printing, 110 signatures so far:

An online petition... those always work. It's sad, but you need to move on. They are not going to reprint because the people want it back... They couldn't make enough money so they had to quit. Simple. Petitioning isn't going to help bring it back - maybe cash donations. 😉
