Games for low-powered laptop (+Steam Sale)

Any recommendations for games to play on a Acer 1410 (Core2 Solo 1.4Ghz, GMA 4500MHD graphics)?

I'm looking for more lite-gaming / strategy gaming than 1st person shooter type games. I'm looking for games that are more for traveling & soaking up spare time here & there rather than hardcore gaming that I'd do on my desktop at home.

I'm thinking about maybe these Steam deals since I haven't played them & they might just work on my new mini laptop:

Plants vs. Zombies
Torchlight

Any other ideas?

Defense Grid: Awakening....

I picked up Defense Grid: The Awakening and Torchlight and installed them on my Gateway EC1435u (su2300) and both seem to run fine in a limited test of each.
