Hi,

the gamersnexus forums are down, maybe someone here knows how csgo is benchmarked by them.
in this video:
at that timestamp they show 226 for 1% fps, i got the 5800x. when running this benchmark map: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?l=german&id=500334237 my lows touch 100fps, the benchmark itself shows min/max frame.
On the other hand i get 600+ fps at the end of the benchmark - so they are not running this specific benchmark.

im interrested if my system is getting me the 1% low scores it should, or if there is still some setting that could help here, sometimes csgo just feels laggy and a dip down to 100fps from a upper limit of 235 - set by "max_fps 235" is noticeable.

any ideas on how they test?

Remember, they bench on a special stripped-down copy of Windows, with no other background processes or services running. Normal users are going to have some background processes and stuff going on.
