I got the impression they didn't want ppl overclocking Furys and were less than helpful to the scene. I can see why given it was such a break from the norm. The misguided comment from one out of line amd employee aside of course lol.

Misguided and poorly worded and timed. It's been taken (intentionally or not) a little out of context, because he was clearly discussing the closed-loop water cooling at the time. That really is an overclocker's dream, regardless of whether the card itself can push the cooler.

They brought that all on themselves though. Can't let ppl speak out of turn cuz you know it will be taken out of context and that comment haunted them for a long time. Hell it still does now.
