I used to play 1600x1200@32, but I decided a 19 inch monitor was too big for my room. I traded it for a 15" LCD which much better equipped my room, I currently run at 1024x768 @32. On my old 14" monitor I used to run 800x600@24 which was pretty bad, in my opinion it makes a big difference.

1028 x 768 x 32BIT 85Hz, 16X/8X FSAA/AA, Max Quality. Sapphire 9500 runs all my games (BF1942/RTCW/WC3/Generals) smooth as silk.

1024 on a 36 inch sony wega.

I can go higher but i prefer a smooth frame rate to resolution.

also make sure you can get 32 bit. if not your still playing super neintendo style.

my prefs,
1 Frame rate (keep above 60 or so)
2 textures 32 bit - required
3 resolution 800 minimum or 1024 normal 1600 sweet if you can still get frames

1600x1200x32 on BF1942. Silky smooth. I play that on every game except for Falcon 4. That game won't run as well as BF1942 does on my system.

1024x768@100hz, 32bit colour

details depends on the fps/smoothness im getting, will cut res to 800x600 if necessary too, but only so far in ut2003 to stay >60 fps.

never bother with AA or AF tbh.

1280x960 or 1280x1024, 85Hz refresh rate, 4X Quality Anisotropic filtering

Sometimes I'll use AA also, depends on the game. (usually 4X)

Normally 1280x1024, or else 1152x864, on 19" monitor, at 75Hz.

Crank up the details to max, and to hell with AA/AF for now :)

Well we ALL know that anything less than 200FPS is a total unviewable slideshow that required making a sandwich between renderings! TOTALLY unacceptable! 100FPS? GARBAGE!

;)
