Yeah, you can just buy a package from steam with your credit card. best value = silver.

The config file get's parsed every map change. You can also just set sv_restart 1 and the server will reboot, and will reflect the changes.

I've been a fan of FF on, with any TK'ers taking a timeout the next round. I think it does the job well with TK'ers (which we shouldn't really have any on a passworded server hopefully), and with FF on, it makes you think about your shots, nades, and flashes if teammates are around.

woo. i haven't played CS in forever, but i finally got CS:S today, downloading it now. gonna try it out tonight if anyone is around. pondering upgrading to the silver package (got a hl2 voucher) for 10 bucks, i wouldn't mind playing half life again with the new graphics engine.

Be warned, HL:S will not be as big of a graphical upgrade as you may imagine over the original. Even still, it's worth the extra $10 for getting everything Steam has to offer .

Next week, Halo 2. Week after, HL2. Week after, Thanksgiving and a 4-day weekend. I think this will work out well .

i was able to get on (altho steam insists on preloading hl2 in the background). looks good, can't wait to try it with some other people on.
