It would be nicer if steam alerted me with something other than a vague message saying "MasterServerRestart" over and over... The only way i realized that steam needed to update the server, was trying to sign on with CS:S and noticing that it updated.
 
i think a good map rotation would be dust, aztec, dust2, office. i am not a big fan of italy and piranesi, but they should be on the list since if others have suggested them.

I have been reading the ATForums for a couple years, finally registered and bought some hardware off the FT/FS.
So im not that much of a forum newbie.. or am i? heh at any rate i ping 97~112 on your server. Ill keep an eye on it for anyone playing

Italy is one of the best cs maps in existence. You'll get bored of dust1 and dust2 hopefully at some point after playing it for years on end.

Oh by the way, I'll look into joining this cs server at some point this week, didn't know it existed until now.
 
Just to let everyone know, I'm going to open up the server for a while to see how it performs... maybe a few days. Lemme know if you want me to lock it down again for gameplay by emailing me at modeps@gmail.com
 
I took a look at it yesterday.. getting a ping of around 70-80 or so.

One problem I am having however ( and its with all servers, not just yours ) is that I lod up fie and can run around with no lag at all. As soon as I shoot, the game just freezes for a second. No idea what the deal with that is. I can be the nly one on the server, I shoot, and the game studders. feh. After I let loose a few rounds, all seems fine again, as if its caching the shooting animation (?). Its an infrequent thing, but happens each time I respawn, and sometimes midlevel as well.

Anyone have an idea of what the deal with this is? Its annoying and cauing me to look much more worse than I am.. heh.

Perhaps its time to do the old reformat gig. feh.
