I have an NEC FE700 crt, and love it.. but I did have the oportunity to play on an LCD, forget the brand, and I liked it even better...

Because of the way that the dots on the screen get there. LCDs tend to be crisper while CRTs tend to be softer.

Basically:
A LCD draws a better square
A CRT draws a better circle

hands down costwise... crt's will win. lets say 17"crt/15"lcd is around average size... the cost of a decent 17" for gaming for most ppl will beat the crap out of the lowest cost 15" LCD. of course, i'm using cost as a very large factor... i suppose it would depend on how much you game, and space.... then again, if cost wasn't a concern.. some of them reallly high end lcd's are pretty nice (coupled w/ the right vid card of course)

Thank you I took your advice since I couldnt get to 75Hz and bumped it to 85Hz. Then I saw how far I can go and I get it to 120Hz! :D

I dare not try 160Hz.
