Im trying to put a microsoft sidewinder joystick on my computer but it doesnt autodetect like it should so I try to add it in and it says my gameport isnt configured properly. Dont know what to do. I also have another joystick, but it doesnt work either. I've used it before on another computer that the power supply went bad on and is it possible that the power supply shorted out my joystick? Thanks
 
My sidewinder doesn't autodetect either... microsoft... Just configure it as a generic joystick. Only 4 buttons will work but they will work.
