gameport and midi port on my k7s5a?

I noticed that there is a midi port on my ecs k7s5a in the bios. What is it?
Do I need to disable it if I have a seperate sound card?

Also I noticed in the bios that you can able and disable the sound and gameport seperately. Does this mean I can still use the onboard game port if I disable the onboard sound? That would be nice because my Aidigys gameport takes up a seperate pci opening.

Thanks for any input

A midi port is for hooking up musical keyboards and stuff like that. If it isn't interfering, then I wouldn't worry about turning it off. Maybe you should just try the game port and see if it works.
