On a related note, has anyone tried the cpufsb program with the P4T-E? Does anyone know what the main clock generator on the P4T-E is (not the RDRAM clock gen).

not only does it appear that the ram was actually running well below 400 MHz, its also an i845D, which isn't exactly the fastest DDR p4 chipset. LAME.


and the conclusion that rdram simply can't be beat doesn't really follow from the benchmarks (as it is beat in wolfenstein, and shows a clear lead in only 1 real world benchmark)

I just looked at my P4T-E, and it has ICS 9250-37 main clock generator.
