Is it possible to use a gameport gamepad and a USB gamepad at the same time? Will windows (xp, 2k, 98) recognize it as two different pads or just one?

What are some gamepads that I can daisy chain together?

Just a guess, but I don't think its a problem to use a USB and a standard gameport pad on the same system at the same time.

To answer your other question, the old MS Sidewinder gamepads could be daisy-chained together. I still use my old Sidewinder (standard gameport, not USB) and the gamepads have ports on them that additional gamepads can be plugged into.

You can use USB and gamepad at the same time.
If you want more than one gamepad, go USB. Daisy-chaining isn't an ideal solution.

While I do agree with what Woodchuck said, daisy-chaining my old Sidewinder gamepads proved to work out great.
