@ CPU benchmarks: looks like AMD finally caught up with...SNB...

on the GPU side, no surprises there. also, no 290/X, and CF is borken (7990 & ARES II) which is a problem since they use the ARES II for CPU benchmarks, but then again, it's a basis for comparison.
i'm guessing this is not a GE title, amiright?

Isnt it rather semi pointless to post gamegpu GPU benchmarks without the 290/290X?

Also last time I checked, gamegpu didnt have an FX9570, they simply overclocked one and gave it turbo for all cores so to say. Not to mention they are both listed wrong in terms of frequency, unless they are both overclocked.

Looks like anything past 2 cores is useless, all the phenoms are close, all the FXs are grouped tho there generation also. The surprising jump is between the FX series chips, about 25-30% on the 41/61/81xx vs 43/63/83xx!

I have a suspicion that if you had Q9x00 CPUs in there the Phenom II would be beating them even though when the Q9X00 were relevant they were slightly faster than Phenom II.

I am suspicious about the Piledriver results. It was a good solid improvement but I don't understand the giant gap between the two generations here.

Those GPU seem low to me. I haven't played Ghosts myself but from what I've seen it doesn't look any better than black ops 2. What kind of benches did black ops 2 get?

I bought CoD ghosts and regret it - the graphics look like every other COD installment. In other words, the graphics are garbage. It also has major stuttering issues which is really confusing given how god-awful the graphics are.

Considering this was supposed to be the "next gen" call of duty, I was hoping to be surprised with better graphics this time around. NOPE. Ghosts has worse graphics than Black Ops II did, and even BLOPS 2 was pretty bad.....

BLOPS 2 has better graphics than Ghosts, and blops 2 also runs like 2-3 times faster. I cannot understand why the performance in ghosts is so awful. It's like the game has built in stuttering like Fallout 3 did......

I know console optimization makes a difference, but enough that a 1.75GHz Jaguar and an underclocked 7850 run the game better than a 3970X and a 7950 or 760 when the console has just launched? Uh-huh. I'd believe that in a year or two, but not now.

The game has garbage graphics. Just look at the textures in the youtube and listen to Totalbiscuits' commentary.

It isn't optimized for consoles either really. Nothing released for another 12/24 months will be like you say. It doesn't even manage 1080p on the Xbone. There was probably substantially less effort put in to the PC version though.

So Battlefield has 64 players, looks better, takes less hard drive space?, has larger maps, and still gets better frame rate.

Treyarch(however you spell it) does a much better job... The people that were Infinity Ward have left to make Titanfall, according to TotalB.

The PS4 runs this game at 1080@60, but PC's can't? This has got to be a HORRIBLE port to run this poorly.

Will a new engine and mantle be able to save COD series for pc? Lol mantle might be a savior in many ways but i doubt its good enough for this situation.

The ps players are in for a positive monster change with bf4 on ps4 for a fps game.

@blackened= I've seen a few gameplay videos on CODG, and I don't think it looks god awful. Not much better than BO2 or MW3, but not crap..

The graphics are garbage, but worse yet the performance implies this game should look like BF4. Unoptimized turd.

TXAA is once again a failure with textures on the gun washing out key details. TXAA continues to be the anti-thesis to high resolution texture packs.
