in the cpu scaling chart, what does bulldozer lack?
What do you mean? CPU is basically irrelevant in this game. Not surprising that BD would trail a bit.
Trine 3 - Artifacts of Power is able to support up to six processing threads, but fully uses only 4 cores.
Is this using DX12 or something?
Correct me if I am wrong, but it looks like the FX lineup performs similar to Intels offerings, and that the r9 290x performance very close with the gtx 980...?

Posts like this show how much GameWorks is hurting us. This is what you see when a title is vendor-neutral, my friend.
Though, the CPU part is a framerate cap.
Honestly, does every thread have to have some whining and complaining about gameworks?
Is that par for the course these days?

Seems kind of strange to lock it at 100 FPS since the game seems like it would easily reach 120 for those with 120hz monitors.
Although I am sure that the 570 runs MUCH better than the 7950 in Wolfenstein The Old Blood. But that is a story for another thread. I will post my results if a Wolfenstein thread pops up.
Come on, the game runs so well because it is not a very demanding game. Honestly, does every thread have to have some whining and complaining about gameworks?
Point is, if it is not a game-works title, how is it on topic to bring it up?
 Great work as always. Trine 3 seems to be almost entirely GPU limited with any modern processor and i7 860 OC is no slouch.
