Gamecube with N64 controller

Okay, I just started playing Ocarina of Time: Master Quest, and the GC controller really sucks for this game. Z-targetting is my new worst enemy. Does anyone know if there is a way to use your N64 controller with your GC? I've tried Lik-sang.com, but with no luck, as well as google. Maybe there is a super secret hack someone has performed? I don't see why it's not possible. The only thing different between the controllers is the pressure sensitive L/R buttons.

I don't find it too bad. I suck at that game though 🙁 Havn't played it in over a week, but iirc don't you just use the Z button for your items? And the L button for targetting?

maybe go into the controller setup and see if you can configure it differently...otherwise hack up your controller cable and see if you can attach they GC connection to your N64 controller

Yes, but I still enjoy the name, Z-targetting better.
I would LIKE to use my Z button for that.

It's called L-Targeting now if you read the introduction texts in the Kokiri Village.

Blah the GC controller is horrible for aiming the slingshot...atleast the little bit of it that I played was...🙁
