Animal Crossing. I haven't played it myself, but a highly respected gamer friend of mine said it was awesome
 
Killer7 is another game to definitely play. To call it an unconventional shooter would be an understatement, it uses a very unique control system - but it works perfectly in this game. If you can get past the goofy & repetitive voices, the underlying game is very good, good action, and an amazing story. If I were to describe the game in one word, it would be: disturbed. 😉 This is a game that really brings you into the story so well, which is quite rare nowadays.

i agree about RE4, so awkward to control.

op has a list of must have games for the GC but eh doesn't have the must have mario games, like Mario Kart: Double Dash and the Melee game?

Hello?!?! I wrote SSBMelee. It's cool as hell, I take it double dash is the equivalent in racing.

I am so addicted to this fvcked up game. It is golfing with frogs, called frolf. You get bonus point all over the messed up courses, some funny animation, its very hard to put down once you figure out the workings of the game.

 
Resident Evil 0 and 1. 2-3 are simply ports from the PS, unfortunately.

Paste that list into excel or openoffice and have it sort it for you alphabetically and I'll take a second look.
 
After getting an Ipod 8 gig nano, I can get a Gamecube with my credit card points. Should I go for it.. or just wait? I don't plan on using my Citi Dividend anymore (going to use AMEX Starwood)

No - it has a separate new game on it that is actually really fun. And it's even better multiplayer.
