so has anybody actually bought the adapter and played online?
If so how is it? Worth buying the adapter and an online game?
 
The only game I know of that's out right now that can go online is Phantasy Star Online. It's a really fun game if you can get it online. I haven't got an adapter yet though.
 
bumping this thread. are there any other online games worth getting? i just bought a bb adapter at bestbuy (their only one, i was suprised they had it) and im itchin to use it

PSO is the only online game for the GC

It doesn't really. The capability is there but Nintendo isn't taking advantage of it at all.

As was already mentioned the only game that will utilize it is Phantasy Star Online and there currently aren't any upcoming titles slated to support online gaming.

There is no doubt that on console the xbox Live is dominating online gaming.
 
GC has quality exclusives (Zelda, Metroid, Mario, Res Evil 4, Eternal Darkness, Animal Crossing, etc..). XBox has...Halo?

Well at least the XBox is nice and portable like the GC.

Doesn't need to be portable when you can play online. And of course you are right the only good game for Xbox is Halo. I like the gamecube it's good for children and people who can't play the more adult oriented games.

What "adult" orientated games would you be speaking of?

The whole Resident Evil line is out on GC. Eternal Darkness is "adult." Metroid is up there. Capcom is coming out with a line of more-adult orientated games (see Killer 7, P.N. 3)

I never knew my gaming console and age dictated what games were "cool" for me to play. That is fanboyism. I'm just be honest. I play games that are fun. Do you play games because you can kill a prostitute, or do you play them because they're fun?

It's a typical BS any anti-GC dudes and gals always argue. No idea what they mean by "adult" though. Know any games for XBox that are scarier than Resident Evil?

Look how long I have been on these forums and look at my post count. I just find fanboys be they GC,Xbox,PS2 kind of funny. The only reason I posted was because of your PS2,Xbox fanboy comment when you are just a GC fanboy. 🙂
 
What have I said to demonstrate that I'm a tunnel-visioned GC fanboy? Just becauseone defends something doesn't make one a fanboy. A fanboy is someone who refuses to keep an open mind on anything besides the focus of their fanboyism.

I'm just debating. Its very simple. With a post count of over 1000 I figured you'd know what a debate was.

The response was to a person who noted that PSO was going to be no longer exclusive to GC and therefore, due to one games non-exclusiveness, the console was inferior. Therefore I pointed out what is exclusive.

I wont use facts next time, i'll just stick with "GC roxors"
