Only way to be sure is to go to Best Buy and try. Price matches are by no means a certainty. Even if someone here thinks you can do it, it all comes down to what your local Best Buy is actually willing to do.

I picked up the black gamecube w/NFL Street and the GC today, but what i want to know is if i can return the black cube for a platinum one since they were all out of them?

I went to pick this up at CC last night. But they were out of both games. I went to the service desk and asked if they'd give me a rain check or something. (I suggested that they just take the price of the game -- $50 -- off of the Gamecube price, and then I could come buy the game at regular price when it's back in stock. ) She said that for this deal, the games would ring up at $19.99, so she sold me the GameCube for $80 and noted on the receipt that I could buy a game later for $19.99. Hmm.

You were lied to. At least for NFL Street, the game rings up at $40, the system at $49.99 and the $10 gift card at $10.

*I may have the $40 and $49.99 mixed up.
