Okay guys, I called overstock and got an answer. Even though my card was charged, my order is in accept status, and I got an email confirmation, I STILL get no gameboy advance. According to the CSR, their inventory system is real time BUT it doesn't save one for you if you keep it in your shopping cart. It only saves it for you once you are on the last stage of confirmation. So for those of us who added one to our cart and took our time confirming the order, the system didn't save us one. You can check whether or not yours went through by checking the order status page. If it shows a description and quantity of the item, then it went through. If it's blank with just the total price, like me, then you're out of luck. In that case, you better call overstock and make sure they credit your card back for the amount.
 
People, when you check on the status.. look click on your order and look to the left... all my orders have shipped dates already... 3/8 for the GBA and 3/12 for 2 orders of games... check it out.
 
I've had mine for a couple days now
THe fuscia isn't too bad but the lack of a backlight sure sucks. Oh well, great find for the money. I already bought Mario Kart at the local blockbuster for $20 and GT Advance from Overstock for $16. Woohoo!

For those that got them already, what shipping company? Mine shows as shipped on the 8th, but still hasn't shown up. Just wondering who will be delivering it.

got my yesterday....yes, it's my first pink color gaming console.....🙂
mine was shipped from salt lake city........
 
Mine was shipped UPS ground (not USPS) and there was a clickable link for the tracking number on my customer summary page at overstock.
 
I called customer support on Friday to check on my order because when I tried to check my status online, it wasn't even showing up. The girl checked and my order did go through (I had already gotten email confirmation) but she didn't know why it wasn't showing up on their site.

It's been shipped....they shipped it USPS MEDIA RATE, she told me!!!! 😕
It'll take a long time getting here, they definitely wanted to save some money!!!! Geezzz....I guess I'll just have to be patient!!! :disgust:


 
Excellent...I just got one of mine on Saturday 3/15/02. I ordered TWO GBAs on 3/7/02, one right after the other.

Interestingly, when I check the order status of both of them, it says that the one I actually ordered SECOND is showed to be ordered on 3/7/02, while the GBA I ordered FIRST is showed to have been ordered on 3/8/02!

Also, it was delievered via UPS, not USPS as they had told me in their emailed response to my inquiry!

Hopefully the other unit will arrive today...
 
UPDATE!

Today is still 3/16/2002 and guess what? My second GBA came in today...looks like they shipped the first GBA UPS, but the second one USPS. And fortunately, USPS delivers on saturdays!

So, I'm happy with overstock.com and thank you Anandtech people!
 
I ordered on the 8th. I got mine today without any sort of confirmation or delivery tracking. I suggest first check your credit cards to see if you were billed.
