Final Fantasy II and III (SNES) had amazing music.
Icewind Dale had very good music for being a dungeon crawl (the Kuldahar(sp?) theme has to be heard to be believed!)

i think the music in baldur's gate II is pretty good. sets the mood with it's epic feel.

i know that it's a newcomer to the market and all, but ALICE has some of the most mind-blowing music ever. In case you don't know, Chris Vrenna from NIN did the music for alice.

My roommate and have listened to the music while stoned, it's just that good.....oh by the way, that was one of the biggest mindfscks ever. good, good stuff. you'all should give it a listen
