I've been trying to install my Game Theater XP card onto my Asus A7V133 since i installed winxp and the installation goes fine until it reaches the installation of the WDM Device. When the install program hits the file "Audio3D.dll", my computer crashes (winxp blue screen) and it restarts after the memory is dumped.

1) Who here runs a gtxp and what motherboard do u run it on?

2) My a7v133 just died. Can you recommend me a board that would definetely WORK with this sound card, cause i loved this card in win2000.

I have a GTXP, i first had it running on an ASUS A7V, worked fine. The A7V died on a bad flash of the BIOS, and i now run a MSI K7T-R, works great under WinXP Pro.
 
I have the GTXP on my A7V133 with WinXP Pro with no problems. Just be sure to download the latest drivers from the hercules site, they work a lot better.
 
did you do any special installation procedure to install the card?

does your a7v133 have sound and raid or not?
 
I just got the latest drivers from hercules (ver. 4.10) and they work great.

My A7V133 has the raid, but no sound.
 
ok ive tried it on THREE boards now all with the SAME problem.

asus a7v133
msi km133 proA
msi KT3 Ultra

wtf is going on? is it cause im using the warez version of windowsxp corporate? im not using a cracked version. just corporate.
 
mine worked just fine on my epox 8kha for the brief period i used a corporate version of winxp..

works on my gigabyte 7vrxp too, but that is now in win2k
