I'm interested in getting some suggestions for good games. I recently finished playing Return To Castle Wolfenstein and I thought that was great. Any suggestions?

First Person Shooters: Half Life was cool if you've never played it, and the mutliplayer can be fun... On a varied note, if you like those FPS/RPG hybrids then System Shock 2 and Deus Ex are a MUST! They rock. :) Great stories, great gameplay, great graphics!

RGPs: Baldur's Gate I, Baldur's Gate II, and ALL of the expansion packs.. I have to saw that I feel in love with this game.

Hide and Seek, Monopoly? Sorry, I'm being an asshole.

I infinitely recommend X-Com: UFO Defence a.k.a. UFO: Enemy Unknown, it'll set you back $5-10

If you are looking for a change of pace from the FPS games, then try DAoC (Dark Age of Camelot). It is a roleplay game similar to Everquest etc. Very fun and slightly addictive. Good Luck!

<< Ghost Recon >>

I totally second that!! Ghost Recon will give you one of the best multiplayer experiences you have had. total war when you get on servers with a lot of people. And great graphics too.

Also, if you like RPGs, then get Baldur's Gate 2. tons of fun and 150+ hrs of gameplay.

Try the RTCW Multiplayer. I checked it out just for hell of it after finishing the single player and been hooked.

I used to recommend these but they play a little oddly on faster machines being 486-era games. A more modern and quite excellent turn-based squad-level tactical combat game is Jagged Alliance 2, which is now about $15 by mailorder, or $10 in the bargain bins at EB.

Gamespot recently had a Best of Year review that you might want to look at here.

I'm having fun with SW: Galactic Battlegrounds, a revamp of AOK...

In the past couple months I've played--

Galactic Battlegrounds
Empire Earth
RTCW
IL-2 sturmovik
battle realms
throne of darkness

Empire Earth and IL-2 are easily the best. Throne of Darkness and Gal. Bat. are the worst (easily).

p.s. Gal. Batt. wouldn't be so bad if the graphics weren't so horrible. The look like they're only using 256 colors.
