Which is better for a PC game, Battlefeild 1942 or Medal of Honor? I am looking to get something to play besides the Urban Terror mod for Quake 3.

Depends on what kind of game you like ?

Medal of Honor is kind of scripted... as in, you can only pretty much do what the designers want you too... but still a fun game the first time through...

Battlefield was fun, can do anything (fly, drive, walk, boat) and online play and mods will make for hours of fun!

BF1942 is a much better game. MoH is heavily scripted and impossibly difficult in some places. Call of Duty is much better if you're looking for a single player WW2 shooter.

Single player? Medal of Honor
Multiplayer? BF1942.

Depends on what you're looking for more.

EDIT: Forgot to add that MoH does infact have a very decent multiplayer component, whereas BF1942's single player is like it's multplayer, but with bots (who suck).

BF1942 doesn't have a plot. It's just senarios, like UT. Still very fun. MoH is something that would play good with a nice surround system blasting. Almost like playing a movie.

What he said.
MOH is very difficult in some spots but will provide hours of fun.
BF1942 single player blows pretty much and honestly I never got into the game even in multiplayer. Maybe because I never could find a good server with cool players. Many times I just run around alone forever without communication and a obvious lack of planning.
