Not true serial ata though.
you'll notice that this new Serial ATA card utilizes the same data processor as their previous Parallel ATA cards, which is the reason why the Marvell converter chips are needed. What this does mean is that you will not get true Serial ATA/150 speeds with this 3Ware adapter, as your disks are still being processed by a parallel ATA controller,
