I don't really get the big deal about it. Yeah, the actress looks young but she's 22. She's older than 18 in the show anyway, right? It was the night before a battle where they all think they'll probably die and she wanted to lose her virginity (and she's had a crush on Gendry for years). I dunno, I didn't really see the big deal about it.
Yeah I suppose. I haven't watched it from the start, I mean when it first aired in 2011, but since 2014 maybe. I know everyone reacts differently, just seemed a little much to me. CARRY ON FOLKSI think the "uncomfortableness" is that we more or less watched the character (and actress) grow up in front of us over the past 10 years. Nobody really saw her in a "sexual" way.
It'd be the same sort of awkwardness if they through a sex-scene in in the last Harry Potter movie - in most people's eyes, they're still children and/or a little sister etc.
